Shadowfell Urban Map Requests

Hey all,

I've just penned a deal with a major Dungeon Draft asset creator to use their assets in my content. So I need to create some cool maps!

Currently, I'm running a Shadowfell campaign featuring an urban setting. I'm calling this "Midnight City" for now. It's a city filled with undead, shadar-kai, humanoid merchants, and more.

Below, give me an idea for a location you might find in a city in the Shadowfell. The location should fit onto an 8 x 8 tile [1120 x 1120] and can be 2-3 levels tall.

I look forward to your creative suggestions!

This is awesome. My party just entered a shadowfel portal in kobold press’ Scarlett Citadel that I could use maps for (we are now about to use your recent Shadowfel adventure . Any other maps you can point me to? I’ll be printing full color…oh! Dave already sled and you out a link. Awesome! You read minds too!!!

Chris Bradley

A blacksmith that's like the Forgemasters from Castlevania. They work with corpses as well as traditional metal.

A warehouse with a secret basement containing a shrine to a dark god that controls the city.

Grumpy Teacher

Bath house/pools of fortune. Bathing pools of dark liquids that profess to rejuvinate, reshape, or resurect ones body Multilevel and/or secret levels/rooms that offer transformation into undead or memory swapping as a service for identity concealment.

MC

A speakeasy style cabaret venue, where instead of the acts lifting people's spirits metaphorically, they are literally trying to steal spiritual energy from the patrons without them noticing.

Stuart Paterson

A spider silk manufactory. The upper level would be where the spiders are kept and their webs are harvested, the middle level would be where the silk is processed and woven, and the ground floor would be the shop where spider silk robes, capes and suits can be purchased.

A mixed-races bordello with rooms upstairs hiding some criminal guild in the basement (one room being a regular cellar, with a secret door leading to the guild's rooms).

Hall of delights (instead of a freak show, it's happy things)

A council chambers for only the elite vampire lords, round table, high back chairs, candles and chandeliers, undead servants and the chairman whomever it is has a personal crypt below under guard from undead or monstrosities alike, possibly even holding cells for enemies they wish to gawk at from time to time but keep alive (or not).

A weapon smith where weapons are forged using the blood of individuals--making those weapons more powerful in their hands but also more powerful when used against them.

Gillian Brunet

A healing house called The Rickety Bones that uses positive and negative energy to heal, you can also get restorations for a hefty fee

Charlie Rhodes

A cocktail bar that specializes in blood mixed drinks, a Limb Exchange for undead wanting to switch out their old limb for a slightly fresher one, a specialty shop containing trinkets and ingredients from the material plane
