Want more DMDave adventures? Check out the Bulletin Board!

Mimic Museum is a Fifth Edition plug-in adventure for four characters with an average party level (APL) of 3, 5, 8, or 11. This document offers a general guideline on how to scale the adventure for each level. A group of mimics have turned a museum of priceless artifacts into their personal lair.

Plug-In Adventure

As a plug-in adventure, the adventure content serves as drop-in material for game masters who wish to add a dungeon to a preexisting campaign or need a side quest. If you need a hook for this adventure or already have a similar hook, the Mimic Museum Hooks table offers details for introducing this adventure to your players. If your campaign does not take place in Omeria, of course feel free to disregard the factions associated with each hook.

Comments

I cant find the monster stat blocks even after buying the asset pack. Don't see them anywhere. What am I missing?

The corrected version is white text on light grey background, very hard to read. Would it be ppossible to get a black text version please ?

Pascale Eisenmann

Yeah, basically. The co-writers have a word count limit, so likely it got cut. I'll make sure future features like that get mentioned, even if it's a "oh, it's just a closet." etc.

DM Dave

I noticed the same thing about Abarat's office. It appears to go down, but there isn't anything mentioning it. I was running the module and had to figure something out and ended up saying it was artifact storage.

Matthew Weirath

Hey good question. This particular version uses just the top levels of Tom's map, but there is a third level basement which is just a couple rooms. If you need something, you can say that it's just a plain basement stuffed with dusty boxes (off camera).

DM Dave

I'm a little confused about what's going on with the stairs in Abarat’s Office (Room 3). They aren't mentioned in the rooms description and don't appear to lead up to the second floor. It actually appears to lead down.

Golfing? But my back!!!!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We've corrected the PDF, you should now be able to download the correct file. -The DMDave Team

Was just coming to say the same

Johnny Fisher

There's two images of the ground floor in the document, I think one of them needs to be the first floor?

Roy

I am afraid the image of the second floor in the adventure is replaced with the ground floor image.

Dave's going golfing! FORE!!!!!
