Dark Domains Poll #4 - Pick the next adventure hook
Added 2021-06-25 23:43:32 +0000 UTCHey all!
If you didn't see the last three posts, I'm kicking up a new series to piggyback off the success of Dungeons/Lairs. This time it's called Dark Domains. It's my attempt at creating adventures based on the hooks from the new Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft book.
The two big winners the last times were the following prompts:
Bog mummies rise from frozen swamps; they're ancient druids who now command undead animals—releases Tuesday June 29th.
Ghosts ask for the party's help when an alchemist discovers a way to "burn" spirits for fuel—in production!
A powerful machine is being used to place the souls of the dead into the bodies of the living—in production!
Last time, "the Apparatus" was such a big success that there were no runner-ups who could achieve 20%. That means all the others are getting chopped. I'm introducing a whole new crop of adventure hooks, two of which go again with a disease/disaster theme, and the others go with a folk horror/fey theme.
Vote for the one you like best; voting ends next weekend (unless it's another landslide). Looking forward to what you pick!

An idea for future polls I've been looking for a good campaign or one shot pirate themed dnd 5e story with side quest. :)

2021-06-25 23:59:06 +0000 UTCThat fungus prompt sounds like a good way for the character to go on a trip through some truly bizarre landscapes, and throw together enemies that have no business being together, like fey and beholders.
