Dark Domains Poll #3 - Pick the next adventure hook
Added 2021-06-20 00:06:52 +0000 UTCHey all!
If you didn't see the last two posts, I'm kicking up a new series to piggyback off the success of Dungeons/Lairs. This time it's called Dark Domains. It's my attempt at creating adventures based on the hooks from the new Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft book.
The two big winners the last times were the following prompts:
Bog mummies rise from frozen swamps; they're ancient druids who now command undead animalsโwritten!
Ghosts ask for the party's help when an alchemist discovers a way to "burn" spirits for fuelโin production!
Last time, "ghost-fuel" was such a big success that there were no runner-ups who could achieve 20%. That means all the others are getting chopped. I'm introducing a whole new crop of adventure hooks, two of which go again with a ghost stories theme, and the others go with a disease/disaster theme.
Vote for the one you like best; voting ends next weekend (unless it's another landslide). Looking forward to what you pick!

Like the traitor idea considering it would allow one of the group to play a bit more of a sneaky role as well as playing the game more cautiously! Sounds fun!

2021-06-20 00:19:52 +0000 UTCI'm envisioning the rat scenario is being masterminded by an evil mage who, once the cats are gone, wants to use the rats to unleash a plague on the city. Either way, it sounds interesting.
