Our next Kickstarter?

As we are finishing up Legends of Omeria for Kickstarter, we've finally started to set our sights on our next big project. Trouble is, there's too much we want to do! So, as always, we turn to you, our loyal patrons for answers.

Below I've listed the two books that we suggested before (Omeria and Tier 4), along with two new entries.

Let us know which one interests you the most.

I voted for the WorldBuilding Guide because a lot of the guides I have are tough chews. I like Dave's style and I want to see how he spins this.

Can you please explain why we had to vote again for a previous winner? "Tier 4 - Ultimate Guide to Running High-Tier Campaigns for 5e (last poll's winner)" I am confused if it won why isn't it being done?

Ltbadger

We're just making sure it's polished. But it's more or less done. We're making last minute changes even today.

DM Dave

That's not a terrible idea. I'm using a lot of my "big ideas" in some of this advanced content I've been writing

DM Dave

Would you consider releasing little 1-3k word Tier 4 guides instead of an adventure one issue? Not sure what other patreons are after, but I'm here to be a better DM.

Check out the kickstarter update page, he just sent one out the other day. Digital stuff is coming real soon and they're getting proofs for the physical stuff. Covid kinda slowed everything down unfortunately but they're not too far past the due date! I read the preview pdf and it's really well done

Fortunately, I'm making a bunch of 17th-level+ stuff.

DM Dave

I still do not have the starter set I sponsored.

Agreed

It's still early in the voting, but I find it interesting to see how things have changed since the last poll on this topic. Last time: - Tier 4 book won with 52% - Omeria setting book had 48%... This time Tier 4 is losing. :( I voted for the Tier 4 book (both polls) because I think it's something that is very much needed in the D&D world as a whole. I realize the counter to that is "most D&D campaigns don't make it past level 10 so why even bother with a Tier 4 book?", but a big reason for that is people just don't know how to handle it properly.

voted for T4 last time, just realized we'll be getting Omeria, so voted for more Omeria this time around.

I would love to see the Omeria campaign setting, especially since Im basing an entire campaign there and this would help a ton!

For those of us that backed the Omeria Kickstarter the Campaign Setting book seems the best choice.

Mark Widner

Haha, oh no, Tier 4 is losing now. Curse you interesting and engaging World Building! I already have resources on that ;)
