The Urban Monster Book is nearly done... so what's next?
Added 2021-03-23 06:26:49 +0000 UTCBet you thought I forgot about monsters, didn't you?
On the contrary! I've brought on an additional staff member—Mr Benjamin Palmer of Adventures' Await fame—to create monsters for the DMDave brand. He's finishing up our monster book which should drop soon (at the very least, it'll be here at the start of next month).
That means we need to start thinking about the NEXT monster book we want to do.
Below are all the same options as before—this time, I've omitted urban. Let us know what you wanna see!

2021-03-24 02:18:11 +0000 UTCWhy can't I select any options? Is this poll closed?
2021-03-24 02:14:28 +0000 UTCi like the idea of combining artic themed constructs.
2021-03-23 20:16:59 +0000 UTCI chose giants because giants are a boring adventure, with little variation on tactics and encounter type.
2021-03-23 17:01:10 +0000 UTCBtw-Just as a shout out to you DM Dave, I combined the Bok! giant chicken encounter with the Lost Castle of Dreams on Saturday. I ran it for a teacher and his former high school students to celebrate his birthday. I made a few of Zeek's chicken disciples the perpetrators of Hershel Junior's sudden growth. They were getting bored being in the lair all the time and decided to go have some fun with one of Zeek's experiments - a modified growth potion. The party tracked the chicken perps back to Zeek's lair and of course, chaos ensued. Thanks for creating two unique mods that flow well together. My group is thankful!

2021-03-23 16:43:00 +0000 UTCIt's a cool idea... but 60 monsters in that niche? Phew!

2021-03-23 15:19:39 +0000 UTCWith WotC's UA release of new feywild races for playtesting, we can be fairly confident that a feywild adventure or sourcebook is on the horizon. Why not get ahead of the curve and produce a book of fey creatures?

2021-03-23 14:48:13 +0000 UTCThis is a really good and unique idea

2021-03-23 13:54:13 +0000 UTCHow about combining the top location with the top subtype? I see arctic and constructs leading! Let's have some snow golems and mecha ice worms!
2021-03-23 12:04:27 +0000 UTCWill the urban monster book have a physical release?

2021-03-23 10:02:17 +0000 UTCI will never not choose arctic... even if there are other choices I would also like (oozes are my second love...)
