Huge Announcement! Foundry VTT is coming this Friday!

Big news everyone!

We're FINALLY adding Foundry files to our benefits. We're going to start with one of our most famous adventures, Kaldrfjell and start putting them out fairly regularly after that.

Here's how it will work:

Anyways, this is an exciting announcement for us since it's something that we know you've all wanted for a while. A huge thanks to Laura Jordan who led the charge on getting it all put together.

Look for Kaldrfjell sometime between Friday and Saturday. Also, we're going to try to have the newest one, Vault of Terror, ready for when we do our big launch.

Thanks to everyone who's made this possible!

So happy that you've made this possible and the way you structured it. As a DM who doesn't have much free time outside of game time having things setup in a VTT was essential for me to get enjoyment as well. Being able to purchase individual files means that overhead is no longer an issue when I want to incorporate a really cool adventure you've done into a larger campaign or run it as a one+ shot. Thanks for all the hard work I'm sure has gone into making this happen! ETA - Will series "bundles" be available in the store as well? Like a bundle of "Into Quabus" or "They Came From Beyond" for medium campaign creation?

I recently switched from Roll20 to Foundry, and to put it bluntly: I'm never going back to Roll20. Foundry outclasses it on every level. I ended up hosting with Worldmill, which cost me less than Roll20 for more. My players are so enthusiastic that one of them ask me if he could run a Dungeon World game on my hosting space, and I got to be a player for once :) This is a fantastic decision for your patrons who use Foundry, and it will certainly save me a lot of time to prepare your amazing content. Thank you so much!

I don't know much about Astral as I've not given that one a try yet, but as far as I'm aware, Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, and Foundry all work across all OSs, maybe not Fantasy Grounds? Roll20 and Foundry are both browser based, but Roll20 has their own servers where they host it from, Foundry you can host it yourself from your own PC or on a server if you'd like, these two are very similar in what they can do but I personally prefer Foundry. Fantasy Grounds however is it's own program and doesn't use a browser, but you do host the server for other players to connect to. I found that Fantasy Grounds is pretty different than the others from what I did use it, but they all have at least the same basics, you can use maps, tokens, and roll dice :)

Perfect! It's just what I needed! <3

There are several VTT sites: Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, Astral and now Foundry. Are they all the same concerning features and the difference is what OS they will run on?

LOL well, now you have a fancy poster to go with it haha

I JUST finished converting the Kaldrfjell adventure from Roll20 over to FoundryVTT a few days ago, hahaha, oh well, I'm sure it'll be done a lot better than how I did it :) I'm excited!

Wow, what a boon for us patrons! Thank you for this. <3

Awesome!
