Our next Kickstarter project? You choose!
Added 2021-03-15 07:28:06 +0000 UTCAs Legends of Omeria enters the final stages of development, we're now looking toward our next major project. We know that we want the next project to be a book since we can easily fulfill those without any issue. However, we're stuck on two projects that we're interested in doing.
Since all of you are incredibly important to us, we want to know what you think should be our next project. Below are two mock-up covers I've created for books we're itching to write. Let me know which one you would be most interested in seeing come to fruition:
Option #1 - Tier 4
I recently came up with some pretty nifty ideas for high-level content creation will I'll be debuting soon. These are some pretty big ideas that I feel could fill a whole "DMG"-style book.

Option #2 - Vadriken's Guide to Omeria
Perhaps long overdue, a book that details my own campaign world of Omeria. This would likely include rules for running epic, globe-spanning content, and may even feature the Hand of the Eight Parts 1 - 6 in a revised format.

cool its the high end I struggle with the most, lore, puzzles and exploration no problem its the high end fights.

2021-03-16 11:32:48 +0000 UTCYeah, I think I'll probably start production on it soon while we're curating Omeria. So, TLDR... you're getting both :D

2021-03-16 05:38:57 +0000 UTCI just tipped it toward tier 4 Yay!! My fingers are seriously crossed for the highlevel content!!

2021-03-16 03:34:08 +0000 UTC333 votes and still basically a tie!
2021-03-16 00:13:52 +0000 UTCLooks like it might have to be! :D

2021-03-15 21:08:58 +0000 UTCIs both an option?
2021-03-15 21:04:06 +0000 UTCI want both of these! I chose the Tier 4 book because I think it's probably the most needed overall. I love lore and would love to know more about Omeria, however I think the Tier 4 book would be huge and useful for a much broader audience. Most campaigns don't make it much past Tier 2, let alone make it to 4. I think this would be a fantastic resource.
2021-03-15 17:34:20 +0000 UTCAlways and forever the Tier 4!
2021-03-15 16:14:08 +0000 UTCAnd let's be honest, you're in competition with the market. A campaign book is going to have to compete with all of the other 3rd party stuff coming out plus a few from WotC.

2021-03-15 15:50:49 +0000 UTCOmeria is just a matter of curating what exists. There's already a ton written for it. It's just a matter of cleaning it up. Tier4 I could write in blog installments. But I do feel that it would turn a few more heads to be sure. Also, I'm a person who's not always crazy about "yet another campaign setting book."

2021-03-15 15:26:47 +0000 UTCHonestly you could work on the Omeria guide month by month as part of your Patreon stuff and then release a compiled version next year. I would think the Tier 4 content would be harder to do that way.

2021-03-15 15:18:53 +0000 UTCHaha I knooooow. While it looks like everything is leaning toward Omeria, a part of me thinks back to Henry Ford's quote, "If I just gave everyone what they wanted, I would've made faster horses."

2021-03-15 15:03:48 +0000 UTCOnce again and forever requesting high level content. There is a void in the market. You could not only disrupt things if you've figured out a good way to make high level content but also make some serious cheddar.

2021-03-15 14:11:04 +0000 UTCYeah, the conclusion I came to is that you have to approach it in a totally different way. I think what we came up with is pretty clever.

2021-03-15 14:00:28 +0000 UTCWhile I would love Omeria information, I feel truly solid high-level content is under-represented. Nearly every setting has included 1-5/10 content, and I've seen a lot of post-20 content. But 12+ and especially 15+ has a lack of consistent content.
