What Level for the Next Adventure?

Looks like we're going to be doing Dark Fantasy with a mix of Swashbuckling for the new adventure.

For which level should I write this adventure (at least to start)?

Personally, I would like more tier four adventures. I have a party of level 16/17 adventurers and it is getting a little difficult to find things that properly challenge them. Epic levels would gr great too - I plan on getting this group into the stratospheric epic levels beyond level 20.

Just to clarify, when I said: "But there really isn't much content made for 5e for 10th+ lvl that is made by the people that have read the f*@%ing DMG AND have enough experience under their belt." I meant no offense, just forgot to clarify that that the content in question was of the Grimdark type. P. S. ALL HAIL THE ONION MAN!

Tier 4 adventures would be amazing ! I got your kickstarter for Legends of Omeria so I'm excited to see more content that can be used :)

Haha I'm kinda thinking I might go to 10th-level. Awaken is Level 11+ and Vault of Terror is 13th level.

FWIW, I voted for 10th level. But, as long as it's Tier 2, I'm fine. I can ratchet it up or down depending on the party I'm running through.

Will also vote for Tier 4 adventures always and forever. Yes, I know how tough they are to do in terms of challenge and reward.

Need more adventures for 12-16 level parties! It’s a drag to get a party to 12 after 4 years and have nothing to run =/

I know that balancing encounters at lvl 10 and higher can be... challenging, especially for someone who wants to reach out to a broader audience. But there really isn't much content made for 5e for 10th+ lvl that is made by the people that have read the f*@%ing DMG AND have enough experience under their belt. I'm certain that Mr. Dave and his staff could make it for at least lvl 10 but the majority will win in the end. P.S. Curse of Strahd is for lvls 1-10, and there is that Grimdark setting thing as well, so there is plenty of low lvl stuff to play. GIVE US ONION MAN and a 10th+ lvl adventure!

Need more high level content. Sooo much low level stuff out there.

Would love to see more 14th+ level adventures. I personally feel there is a lot out there for the 1st and 2nd tier gameplay.

Hi JJ I be khnaj

6 and 10 are both tier 2, so it works out. Generally, level 6 means that they're pretty competent and dangerous and are ready to face greater challenges.

DM Dave

Level 10 is best because swashbucklers need to be very competent but lvl 14 might be a little too high to challenge them convincingly. And there aren't enough highish level adventures for D&D around anyway.
