Like giving kobolds breath weapons akin to the dragons whose color they correspond to?

2021-02-09 19:24:11 +0000 UTCLate to the party here, but if you could do the Sathar from the old Star Frontiers game, that would be an awesome monster group to put inside of the "falling star" that I'm planning on having the players explore.

2021-02-09 19:22:49 +0000 UTCHow about a Vampire Dragon? An Elder Vampire who has been ousted from his lair and is on the run stumbles upon a Dragons lair(Dm's choice of type) and finds younglings in the lair unattended. Being hungry and devious, the Elder Vampire over takes the the younglings and sires a new type of Vampire to thwart the hunters that are hot on his trail.
2021-02-03 18:38:03 +0000 UTCI have a Heroclix figure that looks like a kabuki women which I glued tentacles coming out from under her dress. I always liked that visual. Cthulhu is worldwide!

2021-02-03 18:04:36 +0000 UTCIt sounds lame but an evil mime could be a really fun creature to fight
2021-02-03 17:24:55 +0000 UTCThrew this one at my party a few weeks back; a Phase Hydra. Works similarly to the Phase Spider, except each head can jaunt individually between the ethereal and material plane, and the bite may cause the target to phase in and out of the ethereal plane, similar to the blink spell. The party is confronted by a single head at first and thinks it’s just a weird floating serpent, only to be ambushed by the other 4 heads when they are phased to the ethereal plane.
2021-02-03 01:05:18 +0000 UTCVariations on a boring theme, take a boring/overused monster and make variations on it so that when you throw them at the party, they expect one thing and get something new.

2021-02-02 20:19:18 +0000 UTCBoitatá: a giant flaming snake that incinerates those that would harm the forests. Specially those that would start fires in them. Taken from the native Tupi-Guarani folklore here in the south of Brazil.
2021-02-02 20:06:17 +0000 UTCNot very sexy, but essential: we already have a lot of devils and demons for summoning, but what we really need in 5E are more low CR celestials and low CR animals, so summon spells and Druid shapeshifters have more choices.

2021-02-02 18:13:49 +0000 UTCI'm working on stats for a haunted/possessed doll swarm for a one shot I'm writing. Maybe create a version as well? It might be fun to see what your version looks like in comparison to mine.
