Bok! Attack of the Giant Chicken is a Fifth Edition adventure designed for three-to-five 2nd-to-4th-level characters and is optimized for a party of four 2nd-level characters. This side quest fits easily into any campaign setting. Higher-level parties—especially those with access to dispel magic—won’t find this adventure challenging. Characters of 2nd level who complete this adventure should earn enough experience to advance to 3rd level. Award 3rd- and 4th-level parties experience points based on the adventure’s challenges.

Backstory

Farmer Hershel’s prize chicken, Hershel Junior, somehow got into an experimental potion of growth, causing Hershel Junior to go from a Tiny fowl to a Huge bird of doom. Hershel now stands over 20-feet tall! Supposedly, the potion will last for no longer than four hours. Trouble is, Hershel Junior in his bigger state is now extremely hard to control. To make things worse, Hershel Junior thinks everyone looks like an insect—and chickens eat insects!
