A geiersaka (GUY-ar-ZA-ka) is a foul vulture-humanoid hybrid. Imbued with twisted intelligence and cunning, these despicable creatures are a plague throughout northwestern Omeria. They can be found in Olyothyr, the Sabalona Timberlands, and even parts of Gar Wabrizz.

Altered Beasts. The geiersakas draw their origins to a tribe of birdfolk who once lived and operated in Omeria. These birdfolk lived in flying castles driven by elemental energy. During the Transmuter Wars, the Archtransmuer Loikiel created a Storm of Change through which many of the birdfolk's castles flew through. The birdfolk became disfigured, black-feathered creatures. Driven mad by this change, the birdfolk—now geiersakas—fled north.

Cruel Intentions. Geiersakas use hit-and-run tactics to capture land-dwelling humanoids to imprison in their floating fortresses. The geiersaka's warlocks, worshippers of the Elemental God of Death, Yoghryggdo, perform depraved experiments on these poor souls. Those who aren't converted to undead minions for the geiersakas are inevitably dropped over the side of their flying citadels.
