The primordial forests of the Wallingmiotta, Poisonwood, Amber Forest, and other northern, fey-touched wilderness host all sorts of strange, dangerous, and fascinating creatures. Two such creatures are detailed below.

Giant Stag Beetle

A giant stag beetle looks like a typical beetle except much larger. A long, curved horn rises from just above its mandibles. And its chitinous shell is tougher than a suit of full plate mail armor.Although most giant stag beetle are solo predators, they are sometimes found in clusters of six or more Such gatherings are extraordinarily dangerous.

Green Guardian

A green guardian resembles a 7-foot-tall green elf with leaves and vines instead of hair. Its eyes glow bright yellow, and although it rarely speaks, its voice has a sing-song quality to it.Druids and nature-friendly conjurers use green guardians to protect area of import such as enchanted glades, portals to the Dream, and important menhirs. Most of their magical effects are non-lethal, as those who use green guardians would prefer to disorient and confuse hostile creatures, rather than harm them.
