Starting July 1st, Patreon's going to be adding sales tax to some of the benefits on here. This will only affect a handful of states and countries.
For most folks, this change will be marginal—at most a few cents on the dollar. Some of you might not be affected all.
Anyways, I just wanted to make everyone knew what's up so there was no surprise. Governments be wanting that easy money, etc.

2020-05-23 14:20:16 +0000 UTCYea, they have been doing that over here since the beginning. However, it was a lot more than a few cents on the Dollar, or more aptly Euro for me. It turned out to be very nearly 1/4 the price of the pledge, a €10 pledge actually cost something like €12.50.

Companies like Amazon, etc. have been fighting against this kinda thing for literally decades. It's more about the greedy freakin' politicians wanting more loot for their coffers. :\
