Ong-ongs, the unusual, fur-covered dwarves that live in the southern edge of the Wallingmiotta, are known for their love of nature. So, it's not uncommon they are surrounded by animals. One can easily find small creatures like squirrels, rabbits, skunks, and small lizards in their homes. There are even a few animals (and animal-like plants) that ong-ongs love, such as the mist dogs and bobo cats.
Mist Dog
Mist dogs resemble large canine-hedgehog hybrids covered in bark and grass. Literally grown from the ground like potatoes, mist dogs grow fast, reaching full maturity within two weeks of harvesting. Their plant-nature grants them regenerative qualities that make them incredibly sturdy defenders, as well. And they get their names from their ability to create a dense mist which they use to defend their wards.
Bo-Bo Cat
A bobo cat is barely a cat—at least by conventional definition. These odd creatures look like round balls of fur with short, stubby legs, a long prehensile tail, and feline faces at the front of their neckless bodies. Bobo cats are painfully slow animals, too. Fortunately, they can levitate. Using their tails, they pull themselves whereever they need to go. Ong-ongs also hold these cats by their tails like balloons.
Harmless. A bo-bo cat has no effective attacks. Unlike other felines, bo-bo cats are herbivores and prefer to graze on plants.
Although Tostrasz the Enormous has not been seen in a few years, there are many humanoids—particularly those who possess draconic blood—that continue to worship the ancient red dragon. These dragon priests draw their power directly from the same evocation and conjuration forces that created the first dragons many millenia ago. Often, these dragon worshippers lead massive cults hidden in various cities throughout Omeria. The largest known cult of Tostraszian Cultists is located in Steel Church and is led by Garrett the Father.
