Those who find themselves lost aside the Shores of Shadow must quickly find their way in this merciless place or face utter destruction. Fortunately, the Voices in the Dark are there to assist.
Voices in the Dark are beings whose sense of self is so great that they can cut through the darkness using only their words and willpower. Almost literally, they are beacons of light in a dark world. What few settlements Lost Ones manage within the Other are typically built around a Voice in the Dark's presence. This also makes Voices in the Dark primary targets for the Other's umbral horrors.
