Looking for focus (Part 2) - Daily monsters?
Added 2019-05-13 20:18:16 +0000 UTCOkay, so I've been chatting with folks on Discord and getting a feel for what people are interested in. I also realize that a lot of my colleagues that have success on Patreon (or at least seem to) focus on one particular niche.
Personally, I like making monsters. First, I can crank out a monster (or five) every day without breaking a sweat. That includes PDF formatting.
Second, DMs always need more monsters. And WotC has been a lot slower with the Monster books than they have in previous iterations.
So that leaves me with this question for you: if the focus of DM Dave Patreon was solely on monsters and creating monsters, would that seize your interest?
Keep in mind that BroadSword is where the adventures will continue to live.
So the basic format would be:
1) Copper tier gets daily PDF monsters
2) Silver tier gets collected (and maybe premium) monsters and BroadSword previews
3) Electrum gets PDF BroadSword (completed version)
4) Gold gets Physical BroadSword
5) Platinum gets Physical BroadSword plus other goodies
PS... just because I'm posting a poll, don't freak out and quit on me and leave me a mean exit survey! LOL I'm just trying to see what I can do to make everyone happy. :)

How about random, monsters having heavy rotation - the best of both worlds!
2019-05-15 14:39:17 +0000 UTCI enjoy the random- every third party creator seems to come out with a book of monsters and then an adventure setting- while these are both good and valuable there's certainly something to be said for something random and cool- your superhero stuff was neat to see. Sticking to "just" monsters seems a bit limiting to someone of your creativity and energy. That said maybe doing a 3 posts of monsters, 2 random and a poll for another might be a good compromise. Just my two cents. : )
