Tier Changes Coinciding with BroadSword

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up to the tier changes that will be going into effect next Monday, April 1. I've been thinking these over for a while, and some of the decisions weren't easy, but hopefully I'll still be able to provide the same value to each and every one of you.

Here are the changes to the tiers:

Copper Tier - $3

• PDFs (I'm hoping to continue daily--or mostly daily--PDF creations). These will all be one page worth of content, so a monster, a few spells, feats, and maybe even a subclass. This will not include a digital subscription of BroadSword magazine or Premium PDFs.
• Voting in Patron polls (Copper).
• Discord Channel access (General Channels).

Silver Tier - $7

Same benefits of Copper Tier, plus:

• Voting in Patron polls (Silver and Copper).
• Discord Channel access (General Channels, plus DMDave Workshop Channel).
• Premium PDF collections. Once per month, I plan on assembling larger format PDFs for download. 

Electrum Tier - $15

Same benefits as Silver Tier, plus:

• Voting in Patron polls (Electrum, Silver, and Copper)
• Discord Channel access (General Channels, plus DMDave Workshop Channel).
• Premium PDF collections. Once per month, I plan on assembling larger format PDFs for download. 
• BroadSword magazine in digital format.

Gold Tier - $25

Same benefits as Electrum Tier, plus:

• Voting in Patron polls (Gold, Electrum, Silver and Copper) 
• BroadSword magazine in print and digital format.

Platinum Tier - $50

Same benefits as Gold Tier, plus:

• Voting in Patron polls (All).
• BroadSword Swag Box. In addition to all the other content, you'll also get our monthly swag box which will include supplements for the actual issues like Monster Tokens, Fold-out Maps, Printed Supplements and more.
• BroadSword Sneak Peak and PlayTest Club. As a member of this tier, you get full access to BroadSword material BEFORE it's released in the magazine, allowing you to playtest, share, and get the inside scoop on what's coming up.
• Sign-up Request. When you sign up, you get to have a request made by DMDave. It can be a monster (any CR), 3 magic spells, 2 feats, a subclass, or a race. 
• Monthly Requests Until August. Until the magazine launches in August, you'll also be allowed a monthly request with the above criteria.

A couple other important notes (aka some bad news):

There will be no grandfathering in the old tiers anymore. If you are currently subscribed to a tier that no longer exists (such as the old $5 and $10 tiers), then you'll round up to the next tier and get those benefits. 

I will finish one request per patron this month with the following prerequisites:  

• If you are copper tier, it can be a monster (CR 1-10), a magic spell, a race, or a magic item. If you are silver or higher, I'll also do a subclass, too.
• Electrum members get monthly requests excluding subclasses until August.
• Gold members and platinum members get monthly requests until August (including the one for this month).
• Platinum members can make one additional request this month. 
• Please put the requests down at the bottom of this comment. I apologize for not being able to get the past ones, but as you probably know, I've been pretty busy getting everything ready.
• I'll try my damndest to get through them all ASAP. Just know that I'm incredibly busy right now and the main focuses are 1) getting daily PDFs out, 2) making the Kickstarter successful, and 3) providing the premium monthly PDF which I hope to have wrapped up by next week.
• Instead of traditional requests, I'll be turning to polls and surveys for new content. Probably daily. And I'll try to not use the same person's ideas more twice per month.

Overall, my biggest goal is to provide the best content that I can to everyone. And unfortunately, a big part of that is scrapping the majority of individual requests. Honestly, it breaks my heart, because it's how I got my start as "DM Dave." 

But I hate not being able to deliver on promises and already I've gone two months doing that.
