Leafeon WIP - cutting dress pieces
Added 2023-03-25 15:51:21 +0000 UTCSince I was cruel to myself and chose to overlay the dress with a striped fabric - the dress that already goes under another layer of clothing 😅 - this is taking twice as long as it should. Actually more than that, because I am absolutely paranoid about making sure the stripes are straight and centered on the yellow dress piece below. (See the clips in photo 3)
I sure hope this gathers neatly and doesn't look too stiff. 😬
I am considering making the train of the green garment (that goes on top) have a leafy shape to it. We'll see if it if works out with the silk I am using.
I still have a ways to go... Here are all the pieces of the sewing pattern taking up my massive kitchen floor (as usual).
Excited to be sewing again, though~ 🥰 Gonna finish up bunny Diane soon, too.
