It took me quite some time but I can finally give you an improved and bugfixed Beta 1. While I did not take care of issues woth the tech tests (I will remove those soon) I did fix quite some issues with input and tracked controllers. Also the support for SteamVR is now working again.
Please download and enjoy. Personally, I can't wait to get back to working on the next version, Beta 2.
