Insomnia 0.6
Added 2024-01-01 18:30:00 +0000 UTCHappy new year!
The three settings of Insomnia are officially complete. This release includes a suite of drag-and-drop NPCs for Nowhere, Grismoor, and Blackpost, as well as new locations and factions throughout. I've also massively reworked and expanded the introduction to the monsters chapter, fleshing out how to run an incursion in Insomnia and how to adjust monsters for every level from 1st to 16th without too much of a headache. Lastly, the Starlight has joined the lineup of Eldritch monsters, giving you a brain-melting time loop monster inspired by films like Donnie Darko.
This release is going to look WAY more in-progress than usual. I've laid out the settings sections to have tons of space for factions and NPC art, all of which is on the queue but none was ready in time. So expect more blank holes than normal, even as the book swells to 146 pages!

Sorry for the late reply! I don't have plans for that at the moment, but it's something I should chew on as we go forward. In some ways, the monsters in this book are _really_ hard to design around, so I think we might tangle GMs in knots if we offer rules to replicate our monster designs. However, I also understand that our whole pitch is something along the lines of "run a horror game in whatever setting, however you want" so it's something we should look into.

Do you have any plans to add a way for DM's to impliment or alter pre existing monsters with rules and features to make them similar to the monsters shown in this book. Example, Giving lets say a werewolf dread actions, a weakness, and the various tiers of threat. Sonthing like a list or table of features to add to a moster for their own set of weaknesses and dread actions?
