November Update 2023

Yo everyone, apologies for the late update post, I’ve been out of commission for the past week and a bit. However I’d like to first say thank you to all who enjoyed the most recent Halloween comic, it wasn’t as explicitly spooky as the last two years comics but I thought this year I would try something different. October always seems to be an experimental time for me.

Secondly, I’d like to outline what I plan on working on this month. In November you can expect to see the following from me:

⭐️ Cover Page for Little Snack

Little Snack still needs a cover page for it’s public release, so I’ll likely be posting up some rough sketches shortly. I still only have a loose idea at the moment, but hopefully you guys will help me pick a good one. ;)

⭐️ November Comic Projects - Movie Flick Chick Minicomics

I started working on these pages back in September and will be aiming to finish them throughout the month! $6 patrons have already seen the fully inked pages for the remake of the original MFC meets Decepticon Josh comic as well as the new comic depicting MFC meeting The Aggrieved Gamer for the first time. There are two more comics to come as well, including one featuring TCGPlayer (aka Paul) and another which is a remake of the original comic featuring Movie Marco.

I want to make these comics look as good as possible because I plan on including them in the first Movie Flick Chick collected volume. For those currently unaware, this past year I’ve been running some tests behind the scenes on printed comic books, and have been planning to select The Movie Flick Chick as the subject for my first nsfw physical release. Right now, in addition to adding some new stories, I’ve been slowly going back and reformatting some of my older pages to make them print ready. It’s a lot of technical jargon but essentially because I didn’t originally design my comics for print (because I lacked any kind of foresight) I need to go back and add bleedlines, adjust colors and a bunch of other little annoying things. I’ll have more updates on the actual book shortly after all the new comics are done, but definitely look forward to that! I have a few other things related to book content I’d like to announce shortly as well, and though I can’t confirm hard details on anything yet, one promise I would like to make is that when it comes closer to completion I would like to have something prepared so all my patrons who are interested in the book get something unique and special along with it.

⭐️Movie Flick Chick AMA

Related to the previously mentioned book release but I’d like to also like to include some kind of small Q&A section so sometime this month I’ll put up a post for it. I don’t know yet if I should make it a Patreon exclusive thing or not but that probably depends on how many questions I get…

⭐️Bea & Gio Collab

Also, I was asked to do a small collab with another artist account Bea & Gio so do check them out! We’ll be doing an art trade where I draw their characters and they will be drawing an original illustration of The Movie Flick Chick.

⭐️ Monthly Fanart Poll

And finally for this month there is the fanart poll. I thought as a change of pace for this month that instead of doing a typical fanart piece, because we are currently within the month of No Nostalgia Critic November (a yearly challenge I always fail dutifully) and because there is so much Movie Flick Chick stuff happening this month anyways why not use this month’s poll to create a new reviewer type character for The Movie Flick Chick to seduce? Is that something you guys would be into this month, or would that be “cringe” as the kids say? Lemme know in the comments! If it’s an unpopular idea I don’t mind doing a standard fanart poll like usual.

Anyways that’s it for this month’s update! I want to thank all my patrons for their patience this month and if I get everything I want to done this month I will be as happy as can be.
