Hey guys, let me tell you a little personal story about something that’s been going on in my life recently. YuGiOh is a franchise that has really been on my mind recently and it started a little while ago when, due to some irl circumstances, I ended up grabbing a bunch of stuff from the depths of my mom’s basement and taking it home with me. Among those things were shoeboxes filled with my old trading cards, and believe me I had a ton of them.

I’m still currently sorting through all them but honestly it’s been pretty fun looking through these old cards once again. Playing YuGiOh and Pokemon cards at my local card shop was actually the first socialized hobby I got into back when I was a little baby ’Bob (not including sports which I was basically forced to do anyways).

Anyways I was trying to think of a good fanart theme for this month and it seems YuGiOh is on the minds of other people these days with Konami doing the 25th anniversary celebration this year and the unfortunate passing of Kazuki Takahashi so I’m going with YuGiOh monsters this month. Vote below for as many choices as you like, I’ll run the poll for 48 hours as usual. Also I intentionally left the Dark Magician Girl off this list because I’m still salty about the time I pulled one in a Magician’s Force pack and immediately traded it to some bigger kid for a stack of mid cards (fyi Dark Magician Girl is a VERY expensive card nowadays). Biggest regret of my life…
