Patreon Survey - Let Us Know What You Want To See!
Added 2025-04-04 17:00:16 +0000 UTCHello lovely Patreon people!
April is a big month because it's the start of a brand new Cthulhu cycle here on Patreon. Dom's in the kitchen cooking up another couple of sickening scenarios for you all to enjoy!
But as I promised when we launched this platform we want to hear from you guys what you would like to see us do here on Patreon, so with that in mind I've put together a quick survey that should only take a couple of minutes for you to fill out so you can give us feedback and some ideas for future content!
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/G3LQPQG
If you can spare three minutes to let us know your thoughts that would be great. If there is anything not covered that you'd like to bring up, like other TTRPGs we may have missed from our list, leave a comment on this post and let us know!
Looking forward to hearing what you all have to say!

LAURIE: Thanks for the lovely comment! I've never actually played Dead Space because I prefer to play things don't freak me the f out, but I'll take it into consideration! I've got plenty of other Mothership ideas cooking too

2025-05-22 10:42:39 +0000 UTCNew patron (money issues), hence late reply. I don't enjoy playing TTRPGs myself, but as an audience member I find Blades in the Dark a super thrilling system and, if feasible, would *love* to see a Chaotic Neutral (mini) campaign of it (a standalone would not feature cumulative stress/harm, trauma nor group consequences, which I think are essential components of the system). However, I would *not* be disappointed if it never happened, because, you know, this is just one person's opinion and you're already doing my favorite thing with Call of Cthulhu

2025-05-21 06:58:39 +0000 UTCHonestly I’d love to see more mothership. I was astoundingly surprised how fun it could be and the different elements of Cosmic Horror Laurie was able to implement. Ngl I think a Mothership Campaign solely focusing on a Dead Space story would rock. 4 miners getting conscripted to work on a Planet Cracker to find it’s been over run by necromorphs due to finding a marker is such a fun premise 😂

2025-05-16 15:55:34 +0000 UTCI’d love to see you folks do Traveller, but then I’m an OG nerd from the early 80s. I’ve been going back to the old rulebooks i got as a kid way back then, including Star Frontiers, which was TSR’s (D&D publisher) take on a scifi TTRPG. It was actually pretty cool! Also one called Toon which was a cartoon RPG as if you’re in a classic Bugs/Daffy cartoon. That one was written by Warren Spector, who would go on to create a little video game called Deus Ex. 🤯 Had some good times with my pals in Austin playing all those games, and 1st ed. Call of Cthulhu, which i still have to this day 💜

2025-04-22 07:05:14 +0000 UTCWould love to see a continuation of your D&D story adventure for sure. Fiasco, Blades in The Dark, Mork Borg and Dread from your list would be great to see as well.

2025-04-16 12:22:49 +0000 UTCFirst off, rest assured that I think I’d watch just about anything you decide to play! It’s so much more about what you guys bring to the table than about what the specific rule set and setting is, and regarding the latter, you certainly know way more than I do about the options. I felt like I couldn’t really give any useful data on the questions on other systems, simply because I know so little about them. The only thing is that as a Swedish folk lore and mythology lover, I think I would really like to see try Vaesen (the book, it taunts me, in the background of every video it’s in ;) ) I ticked my very favourites for the ‘revisited’ question, since it asked for *most* wanted, but only because I thought ticking all of them would be less useful, because the answer is probably genuinely all of them. I think the callbacks and crossovers between all the scenarios very much elevates the sense of scale and purpose - the horror inherent in how much larger the forces at work are than the characters in any specific scenario, the inevitability and interconnectedness of things - even if it’s just a familiar name here or a recurring place or artefact there. It’s also just fun from an Easter egg perspective, and to see the recurring players react to them is a delight!

2025-04-16 06:08:42 +0000 UTCMothership was fantastic! So glad you guys played it and would love to see more. I think it really plays to all your strengths as actors and comedians.

2025-04-12 01:57:40 +0000 UTCI would love to see your dnd series carry on. Though, almost everything you do is great. A lot is about the people, I wouldn't support people who seemed awful even if they only played things that I like. That being said, I wouldn't watch the solo rpg stuff like 1000yr Old Vampire. It's just not fun as a game concept even when the player and story teller are great. I try, but I just can't get through them on Mystery Quest, and those guys are great as well. We've had Tilly on The Apocalypse Players, maybe one day we could see Dan, Joseph, and Danann on here!?

2025-04-11 23:12:13 +0000 UTCI really hope you guys play Vaesen at some point, I personally love the system, but, because I do, I understand that sessions can run quite long and it's a little tough for one-shots. I guess I just have to hope that enough other people want Vaesen.

2025-04-07 18:01:10 +0000 UTCJust filled out the survey, and the suggestion of Thousand Year Old Vampire has me very excited! I'd love to see that with any/all of the crew.

2025-04-07 02:55:54 +0000 UTCI would love a campaign that includes both Toms. They feel like two ends of a wonderful magnet and it would be interesting to see how they play off each other. Everything has been freakishly well done so far, really I’m just excited to see what ya’ll come up with!

2025-04-06 00:53:54 +0000 UTCSomething by Dom, in the style of Machine Tractor Station, featuring Tilly, Sullivan and Laurie, would be interesting. Amazing work, y'all!
