A Look Back at 2022

I fished up in the Chillicothe area, best spot was between Chillicothe and lacon. We ran trot lines up till ice would form, best time was when it flooded up in the backwaters. Winter and spring we'd hit all the strip mines, talk about good fishing..lol

2022-12-31 02:17:02 +0000 UTCCool. Another Illinois River gentleman. My dad and I used to go out in the early 1990s and catch bullhead at the Woodford County Conservation Area. We would do a lot of our fishing during the winter in the "ditches" that lead to the IL River as the artesian wells kept the ice at bay. Were you also in the Woodford Co./Peoria area?

2022-12-31 01:50:24 +0000 UTCThank you for putting this on!!! It has been a fun journey watching every year and especially the Halloween season. I ran trot lines as a kid with my dad and on my own on the illinois river. It is fun to watch and brings back memories.
