2025-10-15 22:51:59 +0000 UTCRe: the McD ice cream machines always seeming to be broken: Here's what I've heard: The ice cream machines are really tricky to properly clean, and can get nasty and have stuff growing in them that's hard to root out once it gets started (mold, fungus, etc). So some locations don't like to mess with them and just turn them off and report them as broken to the management, and others have them down for maintenance and cleaning a lot because they let them get nasty. Between those two factors, sometimes it's hard to find a location that currently has a running and working ice cream machine.
