S&P and Kindle eBooks!

I forgot to mention this in our March Update, but S&P are officially launching our stories on Kindle!  All future stories will still be available on Patreon just like they are now.  But after five years of running this Patreon, where you can spend five dollars and get a copy of every single one of our stories, we realized some people would still rather do a one-off purchase.  So, uh... actually for the people who can read this post, it might seem kind of pointless to you.  So let's see if we can get you hyped up.

These Kindle eBooks are all going to have brand new covers!! :D 

If you download our ePub copies, you've probably seen our current covers.  They are just something we slapped together for a nice consistent look.  But when releasing the books on Kindle, we wanted to come up with something more eye-catching.  Now... if you've ever searched for ABDL books on Kindle, you have probably noticed some the covers all have a certain "look".  A picture, something maybe a little sexy?  Stock image, probably?  A cute title layered over the top?  They all kind of look the same, don't they?

Well, when designing our covers, we wanted them to stand out.  We wanted something no one else had, something that made our books instantly recognizable.  And so we worked with JuiceBox (the unofficial S&P artist!) to come up with something a little more... artsy. ^_~

We based a lot of our designs on old Winnie the Pooh style books.  The border - which is purple for S&P - will change color depending on the author (blue for Sophie solo stories, yellow for Pudding, and pink for Mia Moore).  The center picture will change for each book cover, and it is intended to represent the "feeling" of the book's themes more so than any particular moment in the story.  This leaves the images open to interpretation for the reader.

We want to release one of these new ebooks and book covers every week or two.  Eventually we want a cover for each story in our library.  And how do we determine which story comes next?  Well... actually, you guys will be deciding for us! ^_^  After we release a new book, we'll be putting up a poll of which book comes next.  We will pick a handful of options and the $5+ patrons will vote.  So if you have a favorite S&P story, get ready for some great JuiceBox art!

Oh, but that's not all!

Kindle allows us to make physical copies of books too.  It's a little bit of work (especially since Butterflies is over 12,000 Kindle pages @_@) but we want to revisit this idea in the future.  Bigger stories might get broken up into volumes, but wouldn't it be cool to have more S&P books - with the same style of covers! - on your shelf?  This is something we are going to explore after we get some of these ebooks out, so stay tuned. ^_^

Right now the prices are something like... $9.99 for a story with 100k words or above.  Maybe $4.99 for 10k to 100k words?  And idk.  We might do a compilation for smaller stories, or price them at $1.99?  To be perfectly honest, we aren't sure about these prices and they could change in the future.  We are trying to compare to other ABDL authors on Kindle, as well as trying to use the proceeds to pay for more covers.  Because obviously Juice deserves compensation for his hard work.  So if you have an opinion on the prices above, please feel free to send us a message or reply in the comments.

Now you might be asking: "should I buy these?"

Honestly... that's up to you.  The Kindle versions fixed some clerical errors: fixing typos, that kinda thing.
They also have the new cover arts built in, while the Patreon versions don't.  We might fix this in the future - when we have more covers - just for consistency.  But right now the Patreon versions would just be the old covers with a new one splashed in, which seems inelegant.  The Kindle versions are also DRM-free, which means you can buy them and read them on any device without any trouble, and you own it forever.  Though the biggest reason to buy them would be to support the creation of more Kindle books and more story covers.  ^_^
