[#203] Melting Melody

Melody slipped the freeze pop between her lips and slid off the sofa, so she was placed directly in front of the fan.  It was so hot today... the hottest day of summer all year.  And her diaper certainly wasn't helping things.  But her little space was so strong that it couldn't be helped.  If she didn't have time to regress, she would just wet the couch in rebellion!  Days like this... Melody just needed to be a little girl.

Mind over matter was a strong consideration that many people knew about, but in Melody's case she also heavily subscribed to the idea of Matter over mind - that she could use the physical to influence her mental. With the day she'd had, with the warmth of the weather, with all the responsibilities she had to face up to later this week... maybe forcing the hand of regressive feelings was a good idea.

Melody pulled a pillow off the sofa and put it down on the cold tile floor, just as the front door opened.  Eliza walked in with a grocery bag in one hand, while the other fanned her face.  She peeked into the living room to see Melody - diaper-clad and sucking on a freeze pop - lying in front of the television.  Then she went to put away the milk she got from the store.

"Sorry the AC is still broken," she called across the apartment. "I bought more freeze pops!"

"Fankoo,"

Melody called out in gratitude, still squirming around to try and get comfortable and failing miserably. Even wetting herself in protest was starting to be washed away as an idea in her head due to the creeping lingering adult thoughts. Blah! Just do it already.

Eliza came into the room with a small pocket fan on a string.  She draped it around Melody's neck and kissed her on the forehead.

"A gift from the store.  I hope it helps."

And without a moment of hesitation, she reached between Melody's legs and slid a finger into Melody's diaper.  She had babysat her girlfriend a thousand times by now, and she knew what to expect.  But...

"There's nothing here to do.  Nothing a little girl needs to worry about.  How about you lay your head on my lap and I'll play with your hair?  And you can tell me about your TV show."

Okay, so that meant any grown up thoughts went out the window in a heartbeat, a second, a moment and the flood of happiness and serenity took every bad grown up thought away. Like cleansing rain. Melody nodded her head simply and quickly and clapped her hands. She had the best girlfriend in the entire world; the best Mommy!
