Squishy!

Mommy laid me down on the bench and unpacked the diaper back.  I whined and kicked. 

"Wan go play wif the Pokemon, Mommy..." 

"After we get you changed, Rosa.  If this diaper leaks, you're going to flood the whole Unova region!" 

I crossed my arms in a pout, looking out at the playground.  All the other girls got to play...

"Sooner we get you changed, the sooner you're going to be able to go on and play with the others, Rosa, now stay still." 

Honestly, taming Pokemon was much easier than taming overgrown children!

She untaped the diaper and wiped between my legs with a cold wipe.  A shiver ran up my spine and I started to whine again.  But just as Mommy unfolded a fresh diaper, a little Pokemon had toddled over to me.  I looked at it blankly, sucking my pacifier.  When Mommy turned to throw the dirty diaper into the trash, I reached down and picked it up.  Pink and squishy and oh so cute! 

"I wan' keep it," I told Mommy.

"You know the rules, Rosa, you need to be at least out of diapers during the day if you want to keep Pokemon of your own." 

She sighed and began to powder her little one, pulling the diaper up between her legs and securing the tapes.

I looked up at the Munna's eyes.  She was so pretty... so squishy.  But I didn't even know the best thing about her: Munna could eat nightmares.  Suddenly, my only true fear rose to the surface... growing up.  I never wanted to grow up!  I never wanted to be a big girl!  The little gemstone on Munna's head glowed pink and suddenly... I felt so much better.  I squeezed the Munna tight to my chest and grunted, pushing the stinky mess into the seat of my fresh diaper and giggling happily.  I'd never grow up!  Never ever!

"Rosa!!" 

The exacerbation didn't come from a place of anger or legitimate upset, more like her Mom was just... baffled, that her daughter could be so capable of being so... absent minded. 

"I just changed you, sweetheart! You're never gonna be a Pokémon trainer at this rate.." 

But then again, that meant she'd never leave home either, and that wasn't so bad.
