"Why won't she leave? You said she was just saying for the weekend!"
I looked at Abigail with worry. Her hair was braided in pigtails and the dress barely hid the diaper she was wearing. I pulled at the hem of my shirt to try to cover my own diaper, but it was no use. Mommy picked out these clothes... but she was supposed to go home yesterday! Not that I didn't like having her, but Abigail and I couldn't act like babies forever!

"Tha's what she said, she said that she was jus' coming for the weekend like she usually does!"
Not that I'd have any issue at all with her staying longer, but Mommy was usually pretty good at communicating her plans!

"I have work in two hours, Abigail! I gotta change! I can't keep playing--"
The door opened faster than I expected and I jumped in surprise. I felt the diaper grow warm... I always had trouble controlling myself when I was startled. Mommy stood there, looking at the both of us with her hands on her hips. That expression on her face... the wet diaper between my legs... all my adult feelings slipped away. I grabbed my girlfriend's hand and hid behind her. No, no, no! Big girl time, Nancy! Grow up, Nancy!

"Work in two hours, Nancy?"
Mommy walked into the room, one hand on her chin and her finger tapping her nose in thought.
"Now that can't be right, can it? What do you think, Abby? Do you think that Little Nancy has work to get to? Work is for big girls and grown ups and definitely not little paci chewing diaper wetting baby girls, isn't it?"
~~~
Her finger touched my nose and a pacifier slid between my open mouth, stunned in silence. I started to suck it automatically, and like that, I was right under her thumb. I had work, but I knew I couldn't fight Mommy. I couldn't stand up to her when she made me feel so... wonderful. She put Abigail's paci in her mouth and led us both to the bed. I never let go of my girlfriend's hand as Mommy laid us down next to each other. Maybe a day off would do me good...
"I think this is my fault, little ones, leaving you two to think you can fend for yourselves."
She smiled warmly, happily, and dropped the news on them together at the same time.
"And that's all about to change now, it's all about to be different - now that Mommy lives here with you both..."
It took a second for me to click to that, to register, to try and protest - but no words came out. I looked at Nancy, tried to find support, but she'd already fallen into the giggle zone, and Mommy knew it, too. Such a crafty Mommy. So clever. Maybe we did need her..
