It's May already? Geez, this year is flying by!
Added 2019-05-01 02:54:57 +0000 UTCCan't believe we're ticking over to May already! This year has been whizzing past and I feel like I've been standing still for most of it. After getting laryngitis in March and being knocked out of the game for a few weeks, then much to my chagrin, I was the ultimate April Fool and slipped on the stairs on April 1st and broke my foot. But I'm back, baby! Walking with a normal shoe on (well, gonna be a while before I'm wearing heels again, but I'm feeling much sexier just wearing my gym shoes, trust me!)
So, what's to come in May? Well, I'm still waiting for scripts from my Scriptwriter's Tier members, so I can't really say with any certainty yet. Speaking of which... someone wrote me an email a few days ago, asking about the patron poll I did back in December, about the direction my Patreon was going to go for 2019. If you recall, last year I had decided to do an experiment and I launched 4 different Original Series that I released monthly over the course of the entire year. That was a new experience for me, not only because I hired the writers of those series (rather than recording scripts that people had hired me to voice), but also because it took a lot of dedication and lots of overtime to get all 4 series recorded and released every month. I was really glad when the year was up and the series were all completed, and decided I needed a break from that hectic pace.
So this year, I reduced the price of my tiers, and also reduced the number of recordings I was obligated to release every month. And so far, it's been working out great for me. I have a little more free time to enjoy some other activities, and the burnout I was feeling is starting to fade away into a distant memory. So good news, you're all stuck with me for the forseeable future! I've been receiving some good scripts from my Scriptwriters Tier members, and when I don't receive enough for the month I've been outsourcing some extra scripts here and there from some other contacts. But I haven't really given any thought to doing any sort of series for 2019, other than Aika's "Cursed Armour" series, which I'm super stoked about! His storytelling and comedic talents are definitely drawing in some new fans, and I hope you're enjoying it.
I'll give some thought to whether or not to pursue a mini-series or something over the next few weeks, and see what I can pull together. But it's been a nice change of pace for me to have the one-off scripts again. I'm also trying to be a little more mindful and careful about the content of my "private releases" ... don't worry, I'm not going "politically correct" on you, they aren't going away, just being a tiny bit more choosy about what I put my name to.
I had a new audiobook launch on Audible last week or so, and I totally forgot to post about it, so I'll do that later tonight and offer FREE DOWNLOAD CODES of course, so be on the lookout if you're a fan of my Futa content! :)
Also, I have been setting up an Audio Storefront on Gumroad, in case anyone wants to check it out. Now you can purchase audio directly from my store, click/pay/download immediately without waiting for me to manually respond to your requests. To celebrate the launch, (officially tomorrow), I'll be making a post about it and offering my Patrons a special discount code to use towards your first purchase! More details to come on that in my May 1st announcement.
Wish me luck, I'm going to pick up Daddy's kids from school, it's my first time driving since I broke my foot. I feel like a baby bird leaving the nest! Let's hope I don't fall on my face LOL

Last year seemed like it was pretty hectic for you with the original series, moving with Daddy and all of the animation projects and books you were working on. Glad to hear you've gotten some Me-Time back.
