With Destal believing Imari to be dead, he’s found a new mate at the brothel where Harrell stashed him, and is whoring and drinking it up to the point where he’s practically incoherent. But after meeting with Thilly, Imari rescues him and gathers her crew to leave Relon thanks to Destal’s new mate, who happens to be Thilly’s brother. We get a glimpse into the future, fast-forwarding three years to see what has become of the Courtesan and her friends.
