July Script Contest Kicks Off Today!

WRITE - Read - Vote - Listen!

By popular demand, I'm holding another Script Contest this month!    Here's how each stage of the contest works:

• WRITE - Anyone can submit a script to the contest, regardless of your tier level, in fact you don't even have to be a patron! Scripts for the contest are limited to 1000-1200 words, and must be your own creation (no plagiarism or scripts you found online). Scripts for this contest must not violate Patreon Adult Guidelines.  Deadline to submit a script is July 8th at 11:59pm PST. The contest is limited to 8 scripts, so enter sooner than later to secure your spot.  If more than 8 scripts are received, the extras will be held over until next month.  Email your script to candy@voicelikecandy.com and include your Patreon username (or if you are not a patron, whatever alias or handle you wish to be known as.)
• READ - Starting July 9th, everyone will be able to read the contest scripts, which will be available online in a private location. I will post the URL to my Patreon page, my Tumblr page (VoiceLikeCandy.tumblr.com) and my Subreddit (www.reddit.com/r/VoiceLikeCandy)  The author's names will be kept anonymous during voting to avoid favoritism. 
• VOTE - A Patron-only Poll will be posted on July 12th, and every patron can cast 1 vote for their favorite script.  Voting will remain open until July 17th at 11:59pm PST.  On July 18th, the winning script will be announced! The winning author may choose to have their name revealed or to remain anonymous. (If you aren't a Patron you won't be able to cast a vote, however you can join my Patreon page for just $1 if you'd like the ability to vote.)
• LISTEN - I will record the winning script and it will be available as a Freebie for anyone who wishes to download it.  It will be posted to my Patreon, my Tumblr, and on my Subreddit.

So, get those creative juices flowing!  If you've ever wished you could hear me voice your fantasy, or had a great idea for a role-play scenario but the Scriptwriter's tier was perhaps out of your budget, now you have a chance to get me to record for you for free!  And if you aren't a member of my Patreon yet, this would be a great opportunity to have me record your script without paying for a private commission!
