April Script Contest Starts Now!

WRITE - Read - Vote - Listen

By popular demand, I'm holding another Script Contest this month!    Here's how it works:

• WRITE - Anyone can submit a script to the contest, regardless of your tier level, in fact you don't even have to be a patron. Scripts should be between 800-1200 words, and must be your own creation (no plagiarism). Scripts must not violate Patreon Adult Guidelines. Deadline to submit a script is April 14th at 11:59pm PST. The contest is limited to 8 scripts, so enter sooner than later to secure your spot.  If more than 8 scripts received, the extras will be held over until next month.  Email your script to candy@voicelikecandy.com and include your Patreon username (or if not a patron, whatever alias or handle you go by.)
• READ - Starting April 15th, everyone will be able to read the scripts, which will be available online in a private location. I will post the URL to my Patreon page and my Tumblr page (VoiceLikeCandy.tumblr.com) Author's names will be kept anonymous to avoid favoritism. 
• VOTE - A Patron-only Poll will be posted on April 20th, and every patron can cast 1 vote for their favorite script.  Voting will remain open until April 25th at 11:59pm PST.  On April 26st, the winning script will be announced! The winning author may then choose to have their name revealed or remain anonymous.
• LISTEN - I will record the winning script and it will be available as a Freebie - but with a slight catch! In order to encourage everyone to participate in the Read/Vote steps of the contest, you will only be eligible to receive this as a Freebie if you placed a vote in the poll. (It doesn't matter if you voted for the winning script or not, just that you voted).  Think of it like a participation prize.  For those who do not vote in the contest, the reward may still be claimed with your credits or purchased separately.

So, get those creative juices flowing!  If you've ever wished you could hear me voice your fantasy, or had a great idea for a role-play scenario but the Scriptwriter's tier was perhaps out of your budget, now you have a chance to get me to record for you for free!  And if you aren't a member of my Patreon yet, this would be a great opportunity to have me record your script without paying for a private commission!
