Patreon admit they screwed up, decision to change fees is reversed!

Everyone's complaints were heard, and Patreon actually stood up and said "We made a mistake, we're sorry." The fee change will not occur as they described in the email they sent out earlier this month.
I'm very glad they changed their minds, but I wish they would follow up by sending everyone an email to say the change is being cancelled. Making a blog post (and a tweet) just doesn't reach 100% of the audience.
But regardless, yay for apologies and leaving things the way they are now - for the time being at least!

2017-12-13 21:17:01 +0000 UTCWell, about 8 minutes after I wrote that post, Patreon did actually send out an email - way to go team :) So I take back what I said about them not reaching 100% of their audience with the reversal announcement.
