Master Akali

After her rebel phase was over and Akali came back to the Kinkou to become the "Fist of Shadow", the (not as much) rogue assassin played a big part in repealling the new Noxus offensive to Ionia. Akali was the responsible to gather all the remaining darkin weapons to Shen and Karma seal them away using their magic.

Besides losing a bit of her "edge" after she became a normie and accepted her fate as a boring Kinkou, the years following the turbulent times Ionia faced paid dividends when she enjoyed a period of peace and a solid reputation as one of the most dangerous assassins in that side of Runeterra (take that, Zed! The former "fist of shadow"!) - she really deserved that vacation after half a decade of wars, deceit and fights-to-the-death during the invasion.

But after keeping her obligations, fighting and doing all that Kinkou shit, a decade and a half has passed and Akali was reaching her mid 30s: suddenly she was feeling back pain, she noticed timid wrinkles on her face and her memories as an "edgy assassin" made her cringe.

Her disciples already considered her sadistic, but she grew even worse after her midlife crisis started: it was as if she was taking on them her pent up frustrations about the normie feelings she was conflicted about (things like "planting a tree, writing a book and having a kid", for example).

Some even say her rigorous gruelling training was actually veiled auditions to find a husband amongst them, picking the guys who made her type and molding them into the men(s) she always wanted.

She was a beautiful woman even after all those years and most people would kill to have a night with her. However, she was so scary that even with all of that, no suiting bachellors would accept going on dates with her - and extracting answers were impossible because they fainted at the moment Akali pressed them just a little.

After a few tries, she stopped caring: she started to come late to teach her disciples, started cursing more regularly, applied random physical punishments at a whim... and to the cute ones? She did all that and sneaked an ass grab and an invitation for a "private massage" after training. Some guys didn't complain, after all, it was Master Akali we were talking! She earned the reputation of being Ionia's hottest!

But, damn. She was still scary as hell.

Some lineart drawings for older Akali with lots of headcanon from yours trully. I'm not even sure what Noxus is doing on Ionia nowadays in the lore, but I guess they're preparing for another invasion? Just assume something happened to make Akali rejoin the Kinkou and becoming a master assassin there.

Now she joins my headcanon with "bratty Seraphine" and "tsundere Qiyana" :D
