2D in 3D
Added 2024-12-17 14:12:53 +0000 UTCIn an art server I participate, there was an exercise of inserting 2D characters in real life photos - so, that was a chance to dust off some of my old photos from trips I took in the last year and try to find some good angles to insert Ellie in it.
Probably the last photo (the one with the weird raccoons) was the toughtest to render and it's very likely the shadows aren't right.
It was a good practice to estimate proportions, light direction and shadow values. And also made me feel like the author of Rent a Girlfriend inserting Mizuhara in his apartment XD
Quite fun challenge to join!
