There's been a long-running rivalry between Sarabi and Zira for years now that manifests itself ways as simple as a harmless prank and as serious as assassination attempts. Sarabi more often than not comes out on top, foiling Zira's plans to take her down a peg enough to frustrate the renegade lioness to no end. But now Zira's found a very unique new magical potion that will cut Sarabi down to size far more literally than the royal lioness might be expecting. But she finds out that karma can be quite a bitch in more ways than one...
Was originally supposed to be a 7,000 word story that i found myself profoundly unhappy with the rough draft of. That was part of why it took me literally almost two months to finally get thru editing this damn story. By the time I was done tweaking, adding, and rewriting bits and pieces to bring it up to what I thought were reasonable standards I'd nearly doubled the length of it. But I'm pretty happy with the end result even if it was a pain to get there.
