Scientific Espionage Patch 2.1.0 "S.A.L.I. Part 1" update!

Good morning everyone! New update is ready!

This is an exclusive early release of the latest version just for you patrons. Please do not redistribute the game to non-patreon subscribers. <3

This time I get to introduce you all to an alternate companion option to Wolf: S.A.L.I. the cybernetic AI implant! She can be accessed and acquired by visiting the Robotics Lab. Just be careful, If your head already has a houseguest when you visit things might not go well.

I was a bit reluctant to release this as is because its an 'incomplete' update. Only about half of the content i wanted to add is actually there but if I had waited until it was fully complete then you all probably wouldn't have gotten an update till the end of May/beginning of June. With me getting sick for a good week and a half last month I fell a bit behind where i wanted to be. Add that to me working on some background stuff that isn't quite as readily visible like figuring out new game effects and systems It took a bit of effort to get this update even to where it is. That's not to say there isn't a lot of content! this update is still easily 6,000 words of new content spread out across multiple passages so word count wise its probably the second biggest update so far! Its just that overall this update was a good deal more ambitious than my previous ones, haha. I'm particularly proud of SALI's bootup sequence. that honestly took almost as long to figure out and get to work write as writing half of the actual new content. 

The next update should finish off the content that isn't complete here. Admittedly This is a space where my lack of forethought is really starting to come into view. I never intended this game to go as far as it had; it started as just a test game for me to try to figure out how the hell to work Twine for real. Since then I've been kind of flying by the seat of my pants adding new things. SALI, like most things, wasn't originally planned so not only am i adding a whole new section centered around her and her introduction but the next update will require me to go back and alter a lot of things to account for her and add new options to old content.

Major content changes

- The Robotics Lab is now available!

- New Companion: S.A.L.I. the Cybernetic AI! An alternative to Wolf that can be acquired in the Robotics Lab, assuming you don’t already have something else living in your head.

- Installation/Rejection by S.A.L.I is fully mapped out for whether or not you have Wolf in your head.

- Post-installation content is about 25% complete. The only current completed path is hacking your way to safety. The other paths are currently held by placeholders that will be filled out in the next update!

Minor Changes and Bug Fixes

- Updated Special Thanks list with current patron supports. Thank you all so much <3

- Multiple minor spelling and grammar fixes

- Adjusted text size and bounding boxes of Wolf’s text and S.A.L.I.’s text to make it fit better on the pages and not take up so much space.
