We complete the wedding ceremony. That’s why it’s called Asunder; it’s a pun on “let no man put asunder.” But also “As under” because of trance. :fingerguns:
The mind control themes make it clear that the narration here is not entirely reliable. The human ability to remember the ceremony is called into question, as is the dissolving identies of several members of the wedding party.
This is intense. The otherworldly is truly otherworldly. The villains are villainous. The New Order speeches in the ceremony are scary scary. Unlike most mind control writing, you really don’t know what’s going to happen next. I look forward to surprising you, then making this the launch arc so more people can binge.
