Violet (audio, deep dream state, episode 1, podcast, narrative, incognito arc)

This is the first episode for the Official Podcast.

That’s been a dream before, but it’ll be uploaded to a functional website with an RSS link by the end of the month.

This episode sets the premise for the reality show arc.  It bridges the Vampi series – which existed behind the paywall – with the Incognitoh storyline. 

Violet suffers from chronic anxiety.  Her therapist – and her coven – may capitalize on this in lewd and ominous ways. The use of the 3-3-3 technique receives a lot of airplay here.

The emergence of control and magic hews to some precepts of magical realism. We have a very defined and foreshadowed break into a different world. In this instance, the world behind the world overruns and governs the mundane.

I think this episode is brilliantly acted.  It’s genuinely compelling, even for those without knowledge of the kinks involved. 

I made a joke that the depth and complexity of the storyline rivals any anime.  That may be a flourish, but there really is a dense lore here.  Every reference and liminal whisper ties back to another component of the ongoing plot.
