I spent the weekend at GREAT GAMES WITH PALS, which was a swell time! Thank you to the handful of Patreon supporters (and everyone else) who stopped by for a chat, picked up a copy of Cut the Deck and/or gave plushies a new home. Sorry to anyone who wanted to chat but couldn't because I was right next to the stage which got quite loud. It was really great to catch up with a bunch of people I haven't seen in a loooong time. The last two weeks have involved more socializing than maybe the last 12 months??

In a perfect world I'd be making way more money so I could hire all my creative friends who are struggling to make ends meet right now. I know way too many talented people who just need a little stability. I need to work harder and smarter for their sake.

Caffeinated Dragon shuts its doors in one week, so I need to crunch some numbers and figure out exactly how much store credit they owe me for stocking Cut The Deck so I can spend it all on their remaining Flesh & Blood stock. I've seen F&B hiring new roles a few times now so I should get good at the game - just in case! As luck would have it, they teach people how to play at the new Card Merchant which has just opened up, so it's something I'll have to take advantage of. The gravity of the Tabletop scene continues to beckon me in.

Speaking of, I have been working on some new collabs with DnD creators on Patreon, they will post it when they're ready!

Some of my truly diehard fans might recognise that I drew some of my old pre-Swords-era OCs this week. I've been thinking about those old characters a lot lately...

I will be sending out the first wave of Sticker Club this week and then the rest of the week is really going to be dedicated to admin, I've got a bunch of things piling up. There are still a few weeks left of the Patreon Quips test-pilot program so I need to experiment with more types of content before it's over. Since I fell short with Swordtember I think we've got room to check in on Choplet this week without changing the rest of my roadmap too much.

This week I played Hollow Knight (I just saved the last Grub), watched The Suicide Squad (good) and Scoob (bizarre) and kept up with Taskmaster UK S20

More comics next time, I swear!
