I've been away at a Wedding, so I've got plenty to catch up on over the next few days. I had a great little Auckland trip!

Product Updates

• I'll need to power through one episode of Swords a day if I want to reach episode 900 on the 7th Anniversary! That's because I didn't take my laptop with me to Auckland! I'll do my best!

• You have 10 days left to buy Quest Sprout and Momma Sprout plushies! I'd really appreciate if you mention it to your friends! It's harder than ever to reach the people who matter in this new social media age.

• Caffeinated Dragon in Wellington, NZ are stocking a few of the last Kargob and Pest Sprout plushies if you needed an excuse to visit. I'll work with them on having an awesome display for Cuba Dupa too!

• Quest Sprout book orders are going out this week. I've got someone who can help if it overlaps with Cut the Deck, but if it means cards finally arrive, I'll hustlegrind through anything!

• I had a few days off for a wedding, but Stars is back to updating daily!

• I am doing a Guest Art Card for Cat Vs. Human, a card game created by PizzaCakeComic and Jason Anarchy

Life Updates

• My brother got married!

• We explored Queen Street a little, got some Kirby figures from a gatcha machine, ate some ice cream from a matcha machine and rode the train for an hour to catch a wedding.

• In news only important to the terminally online, they've started selling Long Sakeru Gummy at my local Asian supermarket, so now I too can be a Long Loong Maaan~! It's the kind of thing I would have brought in bulk as a gift to the wedding if I'd known about it sooner (they're big nerds, they would have loved it)

• Currently watching Dr Stone Science Future. SCIENCE IS ELEGANT. I'm thinking I might try to do a dopamine fast by not leaving YouTube running in the background this week.

Patreon Updates 

• I've seen Sticker Club mail has started arriving for some people - I still have more high tier mail to send out, so I'll try to tackle that this week as well.

• I got very close to Sarah Andersen's patron count, but there were some cancellations this week and her account also grew some more (good!) so the gap has widened again. I'm certainly not out to sabotage her or anything, but it would have been an awesome milestone for me to get on her level, because she's amazing. Would I let it go to my head? Maybe a little?? But maybe I'd take myself a little more seriously too. The silent battle continues.

Webcomic Tips

• Try not to rely on any one website for your revenue! Despite doing daily Stars episodes for 2 straight months now, with pretty high engagement overall, this months Webtoon ad payout is the lowest it's ever been. Less than 10% of what I was receiving 2 years ago, which seems bad when I'm still on the Top 30 list. I'm sure they would prefer I use their Video Ad option to earn revenue, but it's not well suited to 4 panel comics and Swords/Stars would have to change format to get the most out of it. Diversify! Maybe it is a good time to start pushing Fables harder?

Gratitude Journal

• I decided I should do one of these and putting it in my Digest seemed like a good way to keep me accountable! So here's that:

• I am grateful for how peaceful and sane my home is with nice new neighbours next door! I am rearranging my home office because I can actually use it again!

Hopefully next week I'll have lots of really exciting stuff to share! The 7th Anniversary is just around the corner!
