[News] Snowy's Maps Updates July 2025!

Hello hello - new looking Patreon - who this? In all seriousness, I just wanted to share some updates regarding Snowy's Maps and share some sneak peeks of some projects we've been working on in the background! So let's get into it!

New Patreon Layout - What's This?

Let's start off with the new Patreon page and setup! Yesterday I got the opportunity to have a play around with the new UI updates and am ABSOLUTELY in love!

To start with, the banner has been updated to reflect all kinds of maps I've been working on, new and old! I wanted it to be a blend of maps from the last year or so - representative of my snapshots of creativity - and maps that I am particularly proud of! I hope you like this change. :D

Tier Updates

The next thing I've been working on is the updated tier descriptions - to make it much clearer what each paid member gets at their respective tier! I also updated the tier art with some cute backgrounds to match!

Alongside this, later today all tier prices will be increasing by £1 each to reflect my extensive backlog and growing inflation over the past 2 years. HOWEVER, these changes will NOT apply to existing paid members, who will keep their current pricing structure.

Exploring New Genres

On top of this, I have been exploring some...interesting new styles of battlemaps. As some of you may know I went to UK Games Expo around a month back. It was there that I spoke to someone from Paizo about Starfinder 2e coming out, and to be honest, I got the Galaxy Guide at the end of the weekend and felt extremely inspired.

I want to try new things outside of generic medieval fantasy...so expect more weird maps - particularly fantasy maps with a sci-fi twist!

Starfinder 2e Compatible Monster Manual - A Sneak Peek

Yup, that's right - that is still not everything. Our next big project is going to focus on the sci-fi genre, and bringing a sci-fi themed monster manual that will be compatible with both Starfinder/Pathfinder 2e and DnD5e!

This project is still in the very early stages but I just wanted to share with you today as an early sneak peek! As part of this, we plan to have monsters grouped according to different "themes" within sci-fi! Take a look at all the themes below :D

Discord Ramped!

And last but not least - the Snowy's Maps Discord server! Over the past few weeks I have been working on how best to set it up and make it more relevant to Snowy's Maps.

In this server, I've now added a work in progress channel, alongside a place where you can make map suggestions and ask general questions about Snowy's Maps. And I am opening it to everyone! :D
