[Battlemaps] Vampire Lair Set - and a Collab with Red Sun Art and Bardic Tools!

Hey all - welcome back to another release! Today, I have the vampire lair map set - although I also have a three-way collab for you! The first with the fabulous Red Sun Art, which I am sure some of you might remember, but I have decided to also collaborate with the wonderful team at Bardic Tools. So let's get into today's release shall we?

Introducing Bardic Tools

Bardic Tools struck me as an interesting way of managing ambiences, sounds and music when I was first introduced to it at UK Games Expo - only 2-3 weeks ago! I loved the way you could quickly change the music or build on the atmosphere with the sounds...and I think we might've gotten a bit carried away, particularly with the vampire lair itself.

I requested "a man screaming" and didn't realise that a day later a sound sample exceeding my expectations was sent to me. This was the sound of a full on torture and was very surprised when I listened back to it. It fit the scene PERFECTLY.

Red Sun Art Collaboration

To complete the accidental three way collab is Red Sun Art! And today we are back with another map/scene combination for you. So the original idea was to make a scene based on one of my maps and vice versa, because I have never worked with scene art to make a map before - it's all been based either in my head or via floor plans.

The Maps - My Contribution if You Will

And finally, my map set for this! So my intention going into this was to make a Red Sun Art collab (which I have succeeded on doing)...but I had the weird ironic idea of "what if a vampire built their lair next to a lake - as a somewhat decoy". And thus, the vampire lair part of it was born. I've held onto this idea for TWO months, waiting patiently to have time to do it. XD

One of the variations I have fallen in love with is the blood/evil version of the lake map. Oh yes, the day variation is nice, bright and cheery but when the sun goes down, the lake runs red.

And of course, the super creepy vampire lair to go with this lake.
