Hey all! Welcome back to another slot in session, which is designed for 4-6 characters of level 4. Here's a little description of this session:

The Swamp of Sorrow is a vast, rotten swamp, filled with dangerous monsters, where most people can barely subsist—let alone thrive. For years, feudal lords refused to take over the area due to its little potential for profit, leaving the surrounding villages to fend for themselves. That all changed when a black dragon wyrmling named Deathbringer came to the area. The dragon is an anti-social scholar, which uses his hoard to pay for his rather expensive reading habit.

To continue purchasing books, he started charging all creatures living in the swamp an exorbitantly high tribute (which turned out to be smaller than what peasants would have been charged by their lord), killing anything that refused—or was unable—to pay it.

Given that an average giant serpent is not particularly rich, the swamp was soon free of any dangerous monsters, giving a sense of stability to the area and causing local villages to prosper.

Sadly, this newfound peace came under threat when Princess Goodoonia, who in contrast to her name is actually evil, decided to take control of the region, vowing to slay the vile dragon. This noble goal is, of course, entirely unrelated to the sudden popularity of dragon-skin shoes and handbags.
