Hey all, first off I wanted to wish you a happy New Year! I took a bit of time off from Patreon to spend time with family - I hope you got a fantastic break too!
I also wanted to take the time to thank both free and paid members for their support - it means more to me than you'll know. :D
First off, I wanted to review 2024. I wanted to take the opportunity to recognise and thank all those for their ongoing support as we grew significantly as a community and reached 100 paid members. But most of all, I wanted to thank my long term supporters, who have been with me throughout a LOT of changes I've been making to this Patreon in the past year or so, putting up with ALL of this XD!

In 2024, we also released 91 UNIQUE maps, excluding any variations whatsoever. Which....is a LOT. An average of 1.75 maps a week. On top of this, I started releasing oneshots later on in the year, and while it is still early days, we have officially released 10 oneshots now!
On TOP of this, I have also done THREE Kickstarters within the past year, focusing on physical products - one monster zine and two battlemap books (one WIP).
All of this...has been very taxing, and I've been burned out QUITE often. While it doesn't seem like it, I haven't had my creativity since October 2024...and I want it back.
Right at the end of 2024, I again changed my schedule. All of the releases remain the same as they have been for the past 6 or so months...but gives me more space to breathe. So what about 2025?
I don't think there will be any large changes to be honest. My overwhelm in December made me realise that I am still doing way too much...in too little time. So here are some small changes I am making to help myself:
I am no longer taking commissions, with the exception being people that have requested commissions before, and creators.
I will still likely do collaborations, especially around the 10th release (1st release of the month).
More time for 20th releases. I need more time - so Ideas Time now comes out on the 20th, and poll on the 25th. That gives me now more than 2 weeks to make it.
Tier pricing - Patreon keeps shouting at me to increase it because it hasn't changed in 1.5 years. It's staying the same - I would prefer to keep FoundryVTT modules etc affordable for most DMs.
Kickstarters will still continue but once June comes around, I will probably stick to 1-3 a year. The battlemap books are really fun to make, and I've finally found a process that works for me. :D
More frequent breaks - sometimes I need to take a step back and realise that it's okay to. I didn't realise how much I get stressed or overwhelmed about Patreon, and it's just not neccessary. XD
ANYWAY, here's to a fantastic 2025! Thanks all!
~Snowy
