WIP - Mansion Masquerade (Dec 2024)

Lately, I have started taking some more time crafting and drafting battlemaps, rather than starting on them straightaway. This drawing allows me to think about the structure of the building or the map as a whole, placement, and erase things I don't like so much.
I started doing this a year ago for fun but stopped quite quickly as it felt time consuming, and for some weird reason by brain sometimes just resorts to muscle memory. So starting this up again has helped me to really appreciate the raw design and creativity process! I have also done this for many of the city battlemap book maps lately as well. All good fun :D
As you can tell, the entire map is planned but it is still very much not complete...which is typical of me doing it at the last minute. But don't worry it will be complete over my next few evenings. :)
