What does everyone play/DM? (Let's say in the past year!)

I'm currently only running one campaign (Feng Shui 2), but playing in two more (D&D5e and a modified version of Unisystem). And most Tuesdays I'm playing (or running) a one-shot at our local board games café's RPG night - some D&D5e, but also things like Knave, The Dee Sanction, Flabbergasted, Monsters & Other Childish Things, etc., etc.

2024-09-20 20:37:16 +0000 UTCI really like the module. It is a combination of a sourcebook for the swordcoast and an epic campaign. My players and I have a lot of fun playing it. I think as a DM you have to invest some time for the preparation. It is a huge sandbox and the players can have a lot of options.

2024-09-04 17:41:23 +0000 UTCPersonally I'm a big fan of "* without Number" and Sine Nomine games in general. It is definitely more deadly, even at higher levels than 5e. And magic is devastatingly powerful.

2024-09-04 16:16:38 +0000 UTCIn my group, another player and I swap GM each week. We run separate games, though I host Foundry for both games so that the group saves on costs. Another person has shown some interest in starting up games in different systems, but he never carries through. He's an old high school friend though, so I humor him in at least getting stuff set up.

2024-08-30 15:44:01 +0000 UTCI DM 2x week, Saltmarsh for one group, and short adventures for another (as we recently finished the 16 month campaign of Tomb of Annihilation!). All played on Roll20, as I'm Canadian and all the players are American. Thinking of trying out Call of Cthuhlu though!
