October Update

Summary

Hi everyone, I wanted to provide an update on my end heading into mid-autumn. Back in late April, I made the decision to rebrand and restructure this Patreon - back when I had just two Patrons (thank you for your continued support!). As part of this, I decided to trial three releases a month instead of two and review this at the end of the summer. Here is a summary of my thoughts:

- I have just started another full-time position after having a summer break – which I used to develop my Patreon and engage in other TTRPG projects. I have really enjoyed doing this, running two Kickstarter projects this summer (the latter of which will be coming to Patreon next month!).

- I want to continue to release three packs a month, one of which would be the Patrron-only map, and two public releases. I’ve also had some pretty positive receptions from newer members - therefore, I am going to continue providing this content for you all! :D

Updates/Results from Polls

I recently ran a couple of polls, seeing what avenues I could potentially explore with this Patreon, which I will summarise below:

- Steampunk/sci-fi maps – 50% Yes, 38% No – 8 votes total. The support from this primarily comes from the free members of this community, whereas the other members generally voted no – which I thought was interesting. For now, I will be putting this on the backburner, but I might release the occasional map as I experiment with these styles.

- 5e supplements – 67% Yes, 22% No – 9 votes total. This had more substantial support. I also REALLY enjoyed putting the oneshot together, which had a lot of positive reception. Here’s what I am going to do. One of the three releases a month will have a small handful of 5e monsters and maybe once a month or two I will be releasing a oneshot. The latter was a lot of work (20hrs total), so I will have to consider this more.

Updates on Projects

As I settle into my full-time job, I will be winding down on external projects. However, these will be my final ones for a little while:

- Collaboration with Roll.Spark – this Kickstarter concludes in a couple of weeks. As part of this collaborarion, I can confirm that after the Kickstarter comes out, I will be bringing the maps to paid members only. However, feel free to also check out their Kickstarter here.

- My second Kickstarter was a HUGE success, done as a collaboration with my best friend. We are currently in the process of writing all the content/finishing all the maps – but my maps should also be coming to all paid members of the community in the next few months!

Thank you all so much for the continued support, I REALLY appreciate it! Looking forward to bringing out more content soon!

Same, I went through a playtest with Roll.Spark and REALLY enjoyed it! It has been a fun collab too from creator side
